With over 40 years of experience in industrial environments, machinery protection systems and condition monitoring, Greg provides direction and insight to end users connecting to SKF Rotating Equipment Performance Centers, with both online technology and portable devices for asset reliability improvement projects. Greg has held various roles during his more than twenty years with SKF and has been involved in key projects supporting performance-based contract implementation and execution. He’s worked with various industrial markets, including the renewable energy business unit where he was responsible for remotely monitoring over 500 wind turbines in the USA market. Greg also managed the Condition Monitoring product service business for SKF USA for twelve years, directing and leading a team of engineers for system installations, maintenance, training and mentoring customers.

A Mechanical Engineer with over 20 years of experience in industry, Babar is responsible for delivering reliability services to customers in all segments including oil & gas, mining, cement, steel, renewable energy, pulp & paper and more. Leveraging his engineering expertise Babar leads the Rotating Equipment Performance program, along with the development, implementation and integration of effective technical solutions for mechanical systems, productivity, reliability and operational efficiency in a wide range of operational and maintenance situations. He has particular expertise in implementing processes and procedures, managing operational excellence and cost-effective and efficient maintenance of equipment to maximize reliability and performance.
