Product Development Leader
Dennis Gignac has served as Product Development Leader for the Barry-Wehmiller Papersystems (BWP) Sheboygan and New Berlin, WI engineering groups since August 2018. In this role, product design responsibilities include web fed platen die cutting, folio sheeting and cut size packaging.
Gignac has held several roles as part of the BWP Zerand team including Director of Engineering and Electrical Engineering Manager. Before joining Zerand in 1993, he was a Senior Systems Application Engineer with Rockwell Automation, a Principal Engineer with the material handling company, Harnischfeger Engineers and an Electrical Controls Engineer with GM of Canada in their Oshawa Ontario stamping plant.
Dennis Gignac obtained a Bachelor of Engineering Sciences Degree in Electrical Engineering from The University of Western Ontario in London Canada and is a Registered Professional Engineer (P.Eng) in the Province of Ontario, Canada.
Certified Functional Safety Professional
In his current role as Principal Engineer & Product Manager, Tim is responsible for the development of Rexroth’s safety product line and the implementation of various safety applications across industries in North America. Over a 30-year career in automated machinery, Tim has held several positions at Bosch Rexroth including Principal Applications Engineer, Senior Applications Engineer, and Senior Service Engineer.
Tim received two degrees in Electronics and Technical Management from DeVry University. He also holds an MBA from the Keller Graduate School of Management and obtained the worldwide acknowledged Functional Safety Engineer - Machinery certificate from TÜV Rheinland.
