Meet the Speaker

Gabe ArceGabriel Arce
Business Manager,  MV/LV Electrical Modernization Product Line in US Field Services
Schneider Electric

Gabriel Arce is a business manager for the MV/LV Electrical Modernization Product Line in US Field Services at Schneider Electric. He oversees the offers for electrical distribution Modernization and Power System Engineering as well as Industry Services for industrial products.


Prior to joining Schneider Electric, Gabriel worked for Toshiba International Corporation as an Engineering Manager for MV/LV AC induction motors where he led a team of electrical engineers who were responsible for project engineering, troubleshooting field and manufacturing issues, and product development.


From 2004-2006, Gabriel was at Schneider Electric as an Application Engineering in the El Paso, TX facility where he worked with LV Switchboards and panelboards.

From 2006-2012, Gabriel was at ABB Inc prior to returning to Schneider Electric, where he held several positions including Estimator, Product Manager for LV Switchgear/Switchboard, and R&D Manager for LV Systems. Within ABB he worked with several electrical distribution products such as LV switchboards, LV switchgear, LV MCC’s, LV Panelboards, MV Softstarters and IEC Switchgear.

Gabriel holds a Master’s in Technology Commercialization from the University of Texas, a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas at El Paso, and has been an active IEEE member for over 10 years where he has participated in several standards working groups.
